How You Can Help

1. Donation - the obvious and easiest one! By making a secure donation via Paypal to the Shantidhara Social Service Society, you can touch many lives. If you wish, we will keep in regular and direct personal touch with you and let you know how everything at Shantidhara is going.

You can use this link to make your donation which, however small, will be greatly appreciated.

In the 'Payment For' field, you can specify whether you want your donation to be used for Shantidhara's educational program and general works, or for Sania Trust - our suicide prevention program.

2. Skills - if you have skills or advice you can offer us in the area of suicide prevention we would be very glad to hear from you. In the first instance, please contact gerrymanning AT iol.ie

3. Publicity - Shantidhara is a small and local endeavour building futures for poor children and trying to help their parents to survive. We do not have the resources available to large NGOs and charitable agencies. We don't have the fundraising capacity. We can't afford to advertise. Anything you can do to spread the word about our work will be hugely appreciated and may make all the difference! So please talk about us to family and friends. If you have a blog, talk about Shantidhara and about it's Sania Trust program there. If you have a site, a few words and a link to us would be fantastic.

4. Visit - it may seem a bit disingenuous to say ' if ever you happen to be passing near Visakhapatnam....', but who knows! More and more people are visiting India these days and if you plan to be near our area and are interested in our work, make contact with us.
